The Introductory Workshop is designed for applicants who are interested in a professional career as a Massage therapist (this will be required for entry into the Massage Therapy program), for individuals researching career options and for members of the general public interested in learning and experiencing massage. In this 17-hour hands on introductory workshop participants will:

  • learn the general principles of massage
  • learn and practice the basic Swedish massage techniques
  • give and receive a full body relaxation massage
All instruction, demonstrations and supervision will be performed by experienced Registered Massage therapists. Registered Massage Therapists in British Columbia are trained health care professionals and are licensed by the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia.

November 21 – 23, 2008
January 24 - 26, 2009
April 18 - 20, 2009
July 18 - 20, 2009

Workshop hours are Saturday 6pm – 9 pm
Sunday & Monday 9 am – 5 pm

Cost: $275.00.
A non-refundable $75.00 deposit is required upon application.
